Bump in the value of building permits

The Dakova Square project is accounting for a big boost in the value of building permits issued by the City of Duncan in 2015.
The total value of building permits topped out at more than 8 million dollars with the Dakova project accounting for about 4 and a half million dollars of that.
At the same time, the CVRD posted building permits in excess of 65 million dollars for 2015.
The general manager of Planning and Development, Ross Blackwell says there was no “one” major project that boosted the value of building permits……
The CVRD issued a total of 4 hundred and 29 building permits with one hundred and 82 of those being for a new detached home.
