Future engineering students compete

Teams from across the Island and the lower mainland were at GP Vanier School this weekend in Comox.

The school hosted the VEX Robotics Tournament.

Teacher Steve Claassen says it was a thrill to host the event.

Claassen says the students involved are the future of engineering, with some ending up heading engineering groups at schools like UBC and working with companies like NASA.
