Proper pothole patching getting done now

The section of highway between Duncan and Mill Bay has been identified as one that is near the end of its useful life and will need a rebuild very soon.
The Ministry of Transportation is aware that section of highway needs some project funding.
But for now, Main Roads is trying to do what they can to hold it together.
Crews had been out in that area patching each night, but now the asphalt plant is fired up for the season and Operations Manager Leon Bohmer says a more permanent fix is getting done…..
Crews will be out patching those potholes today and into tomorrow if necessary.
