Small business award finalists announced

The Cowichan Women Against Violence Society is another step closer to winning a Small Business BC Award.
The Society has been named a Top 5 finalist for this year’s awards.
Executive Director Jane Sterk says they are up for an award in the best community impact category….and each finalist will have to make a 10-minute pitch to a panel of judges.
She says their pitch is on the 11th of February and the winners will be announced on the 25th
This year’s awards had a total of 535 published nominees from 71 communities across the province.
