Police investigating hit and run

Duncan/North Cowichan RCMP are still investigating a hit and run that happened Friday night.
Police say around ten to 9 a 30 year old woman was struck by a pick up truck on the 5800 block of the TransCanada Highway by McDonalds.
She was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A 51 year old Duncan man, who had been driving the truck returned to the scene and identified himself to police.
Alcohol has not been ruled out as a contributing factor.
