The Shawnigan Residents Association did not get the ‘stay’ they were looking for but, rather, the case will jump right into a judicial review.
The ‘stay’ would have stopped the dumping of toxic soil near the watershed until a judicial review could take place.

Two weeks have been set aside for the review.
Cook says it’s set to start a week from today and everyone has agreed on the timelines….
As for the new information submitted to the court, Cook says the judge has agreed to consider it following the judicial review.
