The Vancouver and Vancouver Island president of U-Haul says it appears people are leaving the Victoria area for less expensive housing in Duncan.
That’s after U-Haul crunched the numbers and discovered there were more trucks being rented to move into Duncan than trucks being rented to leave.
Specifically, U-Haul locations in Duncan saw 55.6 percent of truck rental customers coming into the city as opposed leaving, ranking Duncan in 9th place for this growth statistic across the entire country.
