March is distracted driver month and police detachments across the Island will be out enforcing the laws.
Constable Tari Bear says the North Cowichan/Duncan detachment is trying to drive home the message that distracted driving is a dangerous and illegal activity and it’s not just youth that are not listening to the message…..
Bear says it is particularly important to get solid, safe driving habits from the get-go and getting young adults when they are just starting out helps to enforce safe driving habits.
