Cowichan Valley Artists In Sidney Art Show

Three local artists will be featured in a unique art show in Sidney this weekend called Go Figure.
Bunny Lishman of Cobble Hill is one of these artists, who was invited by North Saanich artist Nicholas Pearce to be part of the show. Lishman says she has always dabbled in art throughout her life – but mainly used watercolours before this.
Go Figure will feature 150 figurative paintings produced using only four colours and a housepainters brush. Other Cowichan Valley artists participating in the show are Lenore Hietkamp of Shawnigan Lake and Shannon Peck of Chemainus.
Check out the show today from 9am to 4pm at the Mary Winspear Centre in Sidney.
