A frightening home invasion

No one was hurt following a home invasion in Nanaimo.

Police say around 11 last Thursday evening, 3 men carrying weapons and wearing bandanas burst into a home in the 3000 block of Barons Road.

RCMP Corporal Gary O’Brien says police are still investigating whether or not there was a relationship with the intruders and one of the five people in the house….

The occupants told police the suspects did knock on the door first and when they answered it the trio, one with a knife, one with a crowbar and one with, what appeared to be a semi-automatic BB, gun walked in.

There was a tussle with one of the tenants before the trio, hearing the police had been called, ran from the scene.
