The Gabriola Island Trust Committee is reviewing their road signage regulations – and trying to find a balance between safety concerns of motorists and pedestrians, and the importance of signage to community groups and businesses.
The Committee is hosting a second community information meeting tonight in hopes of getting more feedback from the public. Trustee Heather O’Sullivan says public concern includes distracting lighting, character and derelect signage.
The public meeting is being held at the Gabriola Island Agricultural hall on Thursday at 6pm.
