Make Memories Matter: Walk for Alzheimer’s

The 10th Annual Investors Group Walk for Alzheimer’s in the Cowichan Valley is happening this weekend in Duncan. The walk is all about raising awareness and making memories matter.
This year, Frank Leggat is the honoree for the walk in the Cowichan Valley. His wife and other family members will be participating in the walk in Frank’s honour.
Chair Loree I’Anson shares more about the event.
You can register online at walkforalzheimers-dot-ca or on the day at the Cowichan Sportsplex. Registration starts at 10am Sunday and the walk goes from 11am to 12:30pm. There will be burgers and refreshments afterward for participants, and families and walkers of all ages are encouraged to take part.
