Investigation into Suspicious Death On Salt Spring Island Continues

The Independent Investigations Office of BC say police action or inaction have no connection to a suspicious death on Salt Spring Island last month.
Investigations were launched after the responding RCMP officer took over lifesaving efforts from two men who were performing CPR on an unresponsive 36 year old man who later died in hospital.
RCMP Media Relations Janelle Shoihet says the investigation into the death is ongoing.
The investigation is also looking into a 26 year old man who has been treated for several stab wounds.
RCMP responded to the call on April 22nd concerning a fight at a residence on Richard Flack Road.
