Supporting Downtown Duncan

The Duncan Business Improvement Area Society is a group that looks after promoting and managing downtown businesses.

The group presented to the Cowichan Valley Regional District Board about who they are, their goals and accomplishments. President Judy Stafford shares some issues the downtown core face.

Stafford says their goal for the presentation was to show the board how dedicated they are to making the downtown thrive.
She adds their main goal is to keep encouraging visitors into the downtown area. She says a lot of people think the downtown is what they drive through along the highway, but they only need to drive a couple blocks in to experience the beautiful downtown.
