Cowichan Valley residents can now shop from local farmers and producers from their living rooms!
Cow-op.ca is an online farmers market, where you can order products from over 35 local producers on a weekly basis. Cow-Op Market Manager Heather Kaye says they are hosting a Farmers Market Picnic on Thursday – where you can meet the people behind this, and see where all your food is coming from when you order.
Market Manager Heather Kaye says its the region’s first online farmers market. Through the event, residents can get to know growers in our region and support local food production.
Admission is free with dinner by donation – and the event goes from 4:30 to 7pm at Charles Hoey Park, Downtown Duncan.
