A Cowichan Valley woman hit the jackpot…literally!
Christine Forbes from Cobble Hill won a one-million dollar prize in the Lotto 649 draw on April 30th. Forbes purchased her winning ticket at the Peninsula Co-op in Mill Bay.
She says she will be using her winnings for retirement and traveling with her husband.
