There was a serious crash involving a single vehicle on Goldstream Heights Drive near Shawnigan Lake on the weekend.
The Malahat fire chief says the truck was airborne in the crash and it’s a miracle the occupants survived at all.
Two occupants of the truck were treated for injuries.
One of the victims in the crash is suspected to have been involved in the crash that killed an RCMP officer in Langford in early April.
