Habitat for Humanity hires executive director from Mill Bay

There are currently two homes under construction for Habitat for Humanity Mid-Vancouver Island and plans for 4 more in south Nanaimo.
Vice chair of the affiliate, Lynne Henshaw says the organization aims to help working, low income families become homeowners.
She says besides donating money, there are other ways people can help with the cause….
In the meantime, Habitat for Humanity Mid-Vancouver Island has hired a new executive director.
He’s Bob Hallam and comes with a raft of experience in building and leading teams in complex environments, fundraising, operational management, and community development.
