More Support for Cowichan Valley Youth in Performing Arts

The Cowichan Valley Performing Arts Foundation received a 2-thousand dollar grant from Peninsula Co-op toward their bursary and scholarship program to help local kids pursue their passions in performing arts.
Board Member Leanne Schultz says support for fine arts programming in school has significantly gone down over the last few years.
Schultz talks about the numerous benefits to supporting performing arts in youth.
