Recall Across Canada for Children’s Sippy Cup

Parents should check their cupboards for Tommee Tippee Sippee Cups – as some of the popular children spill-proof cups are under a massive recall in Canada and the United States. Approximately 227 thousand affected cups were sold across Canada since December 2014.
Health Canada is recalling five models of the cup after close to 500 Canadian reports and over 3 thousand in the US complaining of mould developing inside the cup. Health Canada also confirms one report of illness in Canada that may be linked to the recalled cups.
Mayborn USA, the Massachusetts-based company says the cups have a removable, one-piece white valve that can develop mould if it remains wet or is not cleaned often.
Customers should stop using the cup immediately and contact Mayborn for a free replacement.
