Help Stop Illegal Dumping

The CVRD is asking residents and people who spend time in the Hillcrest Road area to safely record information on anyone they see illegally dumping in the area and their vehicles. The regional district is also going to step up monitoring hot spot areas and share more information on responsible waste management.
Operations Superintendant Jason Adair says illegal dumping has a hugely negative impact on our community as a whole.
Adair says many of the items that are being illegally dumped can be taken to a recycling and waste centre for free or for a very small fee.
To report an illegal dumping incident, call a 24 hour hotline by dialing #7277 from your cell phone.
