British Columbians are being encouraged to help out with the annual BC Bat Count.

Michelle Evelyn is one of the project leaders for the Sunshine Coast Wildlife Project and she says even though they do this every year, this year is significant because the White Nose Syndrome is making its way to BC.

There are two counting windows for the bat count and the first window is from June 1st to the 21st and the second window starts near mid-July.
