P-SAC members getting restless for a contract

As many as 3500 P-SAC members on Vancouver Island may have participated in an action today (Wed).
Bob Jackson, spokesperson for the Public Service Alliance of Canada says the union and federal government have been trying to negotiate a new collective agreement since 2014.
He says they were hopeful when the new Liberal government, which promised a new era of respect for the civil service, took office….
The action in Nanaimo took place at the War Memorial on Front Street during the noon hour but Jackson says similar action may have taken place anywhere where there are P-SAC members up and down the Island.
