Parking lot renovations coming to Island Savings Centre

It’s going to look a lot different around the Island Savings Centre after a parking lot overhaul this summer.
Besides a new parking lot, some of the landscaping, including a large, old maple tree will be taken out and replaced with drought tolerant native trees and plantings.
Centre manager, Terri Askham says the project is planned for this summer because that’s when programming slows down a bit…
Askham says there are some other parking options for those who use the Island Savings Centre services in the summer time and she hopes the sidewalks will all remain open during the construction.
