The Cowichan Valley Regional District is hosting free workshops in Duncan and Ladysmith to share information on how to protect your home and your neighbourhood from wildfires.
 
You can learn more about wildfire threat, what makes our homes vulnerable, and how to FireSmart our homes to reduce risk. Sybille Sanderson says many homes in the Cowichan Valley are at risk.
 
 
The FireSmart your Neighbourhood Workshop takes place on June 18th at the Ladysmith Fire Hall and June 22nd at the Maple Bay Fire Hall.
