A Vancouver Island teacher has been charged in relation to a child pornography investigation.
The integrated child exploitation unit began the investigation in May, when an officer posing undercover was approached in an online chat forum known for child exploitation activity.
Police say they quickly learned the suspect was a teacher in Port Alberni and arrested the individual and executed search warrants.
He is facing charges of making child pornography.
