New manager for Ladysmith

There’s a change at the top of the Town of Ladysmith.
City Manager, Ruth Mali has retired after 32 years with the Town of Ladysmith.
Mali says there are a couple of accomplishments she’s particulary proud of like the Vancouver Island Leadership Program…..
Mali says, she, and a group of other individuals saw to completion a centre for three community agencies including a resource centre, seniors centre and boys and girls club and she’s proud of that.
Incoming, city manager, Guillermo Ferrero

comes to Ladysmith from Nanaimo where one of his areas of expertise was I-T…..
He says one of those projects is the water treatment plant, probably one of the largest projects the Town will ever have.
