Officials with the water utility in the Muncipality of North Cowichan are hoping to be able to cancel a boil water advisory for the residents of Chemainus by late tomorrow (Thurs).
Robert Bell says, for some unknown reason, the turbidity in the water went up just slightly over the allowable limit but he’s hoping for a quick fix….
Chemainus water users should boil their water for at least one minute before drinking, cooking, or brushing teeth with it.
