Extra busy for ferries this weekend

BC Ferries has added lots of additional sailings to deal with the expected glut of passengers on this long weekend.
Deborah Marshall says on the Horseshoe Bay to Deparature Bay route 3 vessels will be operating providing up to 22 sailings per day.
There will be an extra vessel on the Langdale route, and on the Duke Point Tsawwassen run there will be two vessels running 8 round trips per day.
Marshall says the busiest times are at both ends of the long weekend…..

Marshall says this long weekend could actually be busier than others because it “book ends” two holidays, Canada Day and the U.S. Independence Day.
