Construction slows traffic on the Pat Bay Highway

From now through to the early fall, there will be some construction on the Pat Bay Highway.
Crews will be repaving a 3 kilometer section of highway 17 between Sayward Road and Haliburton Road.
That section of road is one which would be taken to get to or from the Victoria airport or to or from the Swartz Bay ferry terminal.
The majority of work will occur at night when traffic volumes are low.
Motorists are advised to allow for extra time and are reminded to obey traffic control personnel and construction speed limits, and watch for workers and highway message boards.
