Crime spree from Cobble Hill to Bowen Island

A 25 year Vancouver Island old man will have some explaining to do.

Constable Harrison Mohr with the Sunshine Coast RCMP says a suspect is in custody because he allegedly went on a crime spree between June 29th and July 3rd.

The man eventually crashed the fourth stolen boat near Bowen Island and made his way to shore where he broke into a house.

That’s when Bowen Island RCMP caught up to him.
The suspect was sent to the hospital.

Mohr says they expect this kind of crime spree to happen in James Bond movies, but not the coastal waters of B.C.
