Have a way to call for help when heading into the trails

Search and Rescue crews say it’s important to be prepared before you head out.

Grant Cromer with Campbell River Ground Search and Rescue says one of the biggest tips is to make sure you have a way to call for help, should something go wrong…

Cromer says it’s also important to tell someone where you’re going and when to expect you home so rescue crews can be alerted as soon as possible if you fail to return.
