Police seek help locating stolen items

Nanaimo RCMP is looking for some help in solving a couple of thefts.
The first happened in the 600 block of Kennedy Street when a woman left her purse and phone near her car while she took garbage to a nearby disposal bin.
She saw the suspect near her car and when she got back, her purse and phone were gone.
The thief has since used her i-phone to upload a picture of himself.
The second incident involved the theft of 20,000 dollars worth of para-gliding equipment stolen from a rental vehicle on Sealion Place.
