Human remains identified

The BC Coroners Service has made a positive identification of the human remains found on July 4th near Bowen Road.

The remains have been identified as 40 year Marlon Orozco-Castillo of Nanaimo.

He had been reported missing from Nanaimo in May of this year.
Orozco-Castillo’s family and next of kin have been notified.
The investigation found no evidence of foul play.
