A horse was saved out of deep mud this week with the help of Campbell River emergency crews.
The Fire department teamed up with Search and Rescue, RCMP, B-C Ambulance and a local vet to save the animal.
Fire fighter Ken Dawson says the rider and his horse fell down a trail after coming into contact with a wasp nest.
He says the horse is doing well…
Dawson says the rescue was successfully done with the use of search and rescue rope gear, A-T-Vs and direction from the vet.
