Local MP Hosts Climate Change Discussions

Local MP Alistair McGregor is joining One Cowichan, The People’s Climate Plan and The Cowichan Climate Collaborative for round table discussions with the community.
McGregor says he’s received a number of emails and phone calls from community members who are ready to see more action on climate change.
The town hall is part of a national climate plan consultation to provide feedback for the federal government’s national climate change strategy, scheduled to be released next fall.
The meeting takes place Thursday from 6-8pm at the Island Savings Centre.
