The Town of Lake Cowichan is getting 10 thousand dollars from the BC Rural Dividend Fund.
47 grants were handed out in all to local governments, not-for-profit organizations and First Nations totalling better than 464,000 dollars.
The money will be used to promote economic sustainability, while contributing to a community’s overall resilience and liveability.
