Drone use near hospital a concern

While guidelines and regulations around the use of drones continues to evolve, RCMP are dealing with complaints on the use of them.
Sargeant Sheryl Armstrong with the Nanaimo detachment says RCMP were called by BC Hydro when 50 pound test fishing line was found wrapped around power lines in the Waddington and Dufferin area….
Armstrong says there have been similar incidents in the past near the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital helicopter landing pad, which could cause significant problems for air ambulances.
