Missing Man in Duncan

Local RCMP are looking for a missing 63 year old man in Duncan.

Daniel (Danny) Joseph was last seen walking into the woods near the 4300 block of Webdon road on Wednesday around 8pm. Police believe he may have become disoriented.

There is no indication of where Joseph may be headed. RCMP have checked Island Hospitals and commercial businesses where he may have gone.

Cowichan Valley Search and Rescue are currently on the ground actively looking for him. The Police have engaged the Police Service Dog but the team was not able to locate a track.

He is described as a First Nations man, about 5’10” with a slender build. He has thinning black hair, with missing teeth and an under bite. He was last seen wearing a black  t-shirt, black pants and grey shoes.

Daniel Joseph has a medical condition that requires daily medication he left at home.
