Feds change medicinal cannabis rules

Health Canada has announced patients, using medicinal cannabis, will now be allowed to grow their own pot for personal use.
A spokesperson for the Mid Island Health and Wellness Association, who requested his name not be used, is applauding the decision….

The federal government had outlawed the practice which forced patients to purchase pot, for medicinal use, only from licensed producers.
But back in March a Federal Court ruling upheld patients’ rights to grow their own medical marijuana.
