Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Lake Cowichan

The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died after a motor vehicle incident in Lake Cowichan.
He is 45 year old Spencer William Gledhill, of Youbou.

Gledhill was operating a motorcycle on Wellington Road in Lake Cowichan during the noon hour last Wednesday, when his motorcycle left the road, jumped the curb and hit some boulders.

Gledhill was taken to Cowichan District Hospital, but died from his injuries shortly after arriving at hospital.
