Woman dies at Sooke Potholes

The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a
woman who died following a fall at the Sooke Potholes Regional Park on Saturday.

She was 28 year old Alysha Buzzeo of Sooke.

According to the coroner’s service, she and her spouse were sitting on a rocky ledge, covered with dry grass and moss, overlooking the Sooke Potholes.

She stood up, lost her footing, and fell about 12 metres to the rocks below.
She died at the scene.
