There was a commotion in the Nananimo RCMP detachment parking lot around 8:30 this morning (Tues).
Corporal Jon Stuart says it all started when a vehicle drove into a the rear parking lot of the detachment….
Stuart says then the suspect continued on the rampage with the vehicle colliding with a police vehicle occupied by three officers.
No one was hurt and the suspect has been taken to the hospital for an examination as a precaution.
Police are still investigating and don’t know what prompted the incident.
