The Coastal Fire Centre says it’s getting dry in our forests and it’s expected to get even hotter and drier.
As a result, Marg Drysdale says they are putting a campfire ban in place effective tomorrow (Wed) at noon…..
Drysdale says the only devices that will be allowed in campsites are CSA or ULC approved devices for briquettes and propane campfires.
She says briquettes cannot be used in the campfire rings.
