A 23 year old investigation continues as police try to find a girl who went missing in 1993.
Lindsey Nicholls was 14 years old when she went to visit friends on the BC Day long weekend in Comox, but she never arrived.
She was last seen walking down Royston Road in the Comox Valley.
Over the past couple of days, twenty forensically trained police officers conducted a thorough search and excavation on a rural property based on a tip from the public.
The search has now been completed but the results cannot be shared as the investigation is still ongoing.
