Card skimming affects travellers returning from Mexico

If you’ve traveled to Mexico recently, you might want to check your bank statements.

A Sunshine Coast resident has contacted the RCMP about unauthorized withdrawals made on her bank account from an ATM in the US.

Sunshine Coast mounties believe the person’s card and PIN information was skimmed.

And police have been told by the victim’s bank they are seeing an increase in this kind of fraud from clients who have recently traveled to Mexico.
