Mock Tour de Rock goes Sunday

The Canadian Cancer Society Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock team will be on the road this Sunday, for their  dress rehearsal mock tour.

Spokesperson Tracy Berg says the team will ride on the Island Highway from Nanaimo to Duncan and back with full escorts of support crew, police cars and motorcycles….

The mock tour starts in Nanaimo from the Inn at Long Lake just before 9 and then stops at the Port Place Mall in Nanaimo before heading to Duncan.
In Duncan, the 17 member team will stop at the Sportsplex just before noon for about 20 minutes before heading to Just Jakes for lunch.
