Anti-idling coming to North Cowichan
North Cowichan Council is looking to add an anti-idling bylaw for the municipality.
Staff were asked to draft a bylaw similar to the one in place in Duncan. But not all were in favour of the new rule. Councillor Al Seibring believes it will be too hard to enforce.
The motion still passed to draft the bylaw that prohibits vehicle idling for more than one minute, despite three councillors’ opposition.
