Local federal employees not getting paychecks

Federal civil servants are still finding themselves victims of the federal payroll system.
Nanaimo Ladysmith MP, Sheila Malcolmson says the issues have been plaguing the Federal Government’s pay services since 2014 and the problem has gotten worse with the introduction of the Phoenix software this past February…..

Malcolmson says the NDP has been raising the issue for months but the minister responsible has not committed to any kind of timeline as to when the problem will be fixed.
She says thousands of employees are affected.
