Identities of drowning victims released

The BC Coroners Service has released the names of the two men who died following a swimming incident on Saltspring Island last Tuesday.
They are Masashi Shintani and Ryo Yamaguchi and were both aged 25.
The Coroner says both men were originally from Japan, but Shintani had been living in Vancouver and Yamaguchi in the Victoria area.

They were visiting Saltspring Island on a short vacation when they drowned at a small lake near Ruckle Provincial Park.
